Honda Leander is proud to support our local Leander community. We are proud to host and participate in events to benefit area charities and organizations such as the Leander Independent School District, Texas Humane Heroes, Leander Chamber of Commerce, Leander Youth Baseball & Softball Alliance, Leander Educational Excellence Foundation, Mission of Hope, and many more.

The Liberty Hill Big Rig Petting Zoo is a place where hundreds of transportation enthusiast families gathered to explore and enjoy games, activities, and lots of Big Rig Equipment! Honda Leander was proud to be the Title Sponsor for this Amazing Event!

Summer Safety Bash

Honda Leander hosted Queen of Hearts CPR for our community Summer Safety Bash. Local community members had the opportunity to get hands on with a CPR mannequin and learn the importance of knowing CPR. Community members also learned about Heat Exhaustion, Heat Stroke, and Dehydration. Guests also met Peter Bullara, a local resident who needs a kidney transplant, and the event was a huge success as we raised over $1,000 for Peter.

Honda Leander and Queen of Hearts would like to thank the following community business for their donations to the raffle prizes: Temperature Pro, Texas Stars, Sabino’s Pizza Pub, Sharks Burger, Leander Athletic Club, Hot Works, Goosehead Insurance, Heather Walker with Rodan Fields, Julia Crist Photography, and Hyatt Place Cedar Park. Huge thanks to Leander Fire Department for bringing out the engine for the kid’s, Hobby Town Car Club for bringing the muscle cars out, and Jeff Anderson Constable of Williamson County Precinct 2.

We always enjoy spending time with our local Leander community educating our community members about career opportunities and growth.

City of Leander Wildflower Beautification Project

Honda Leander partnered with local Georgetown-are members to plant beautiful flowers and keep the area looking wonderful.

Central Texas Girl Scout Troop 2559 Silver Award Project

This project is in partnership with The Leander Chamber of Commerce, Leander Parks & Rec, and the City of Leander Mayor’s office for the Leander Wildflower Trail. This is to bring native Texas wildflowers to the City of Leander. This will help our city not only with maintenance and labor costs, but it will also help conserve water, control erosion, and provide a habitat for wildlife. Wildflowers also provide seeds, nectar, pollens and leaves as food for bees, butterflies, bats and more. These insects and animals will help pollinate our food crops and build up the environment.

This will provide a long-lasting ecosystem and help struggling species like bees. Educating the community and creating an all-ages knowledge of native flowers and their benefits will help create a long-term project and also continue to beautify our city and keep it native. We have done our research on the preparation and the soil types, prime locations, and fertilizers needed for best planting, and we’re excited to get started. This project helps us get involved within our community and also have ownership of a major project that we can watch grow for years to come. It helps us with leadership tasks and also learning more about our beautiful state.
